With my unique approach integrating Postural Restoration, I understand that the body falls into predictable patterns of skeletal dysfunction. All too often, trainers think that a few stretches or mobility exercises can give you pain relief. However, this does not address the root of your problem, and before you know it, your pain is back or moves to a different location. I understand that is a frustrating process, and as your online trainer, I am passionate about seeing you succeed. Ultimately, it is my goal is to help you achieve your goals while enjoying the process.

Or any other kind of pain, I have the knowledge and skills to help you understand why you are in pain and how you can apply different strategies relieve discomfort whenever you may feel it.

This is where I aim to distinguish myself from other trainers. We will not simply remedy momentary discomfort, but intentionally and purposefully identify and address the underlying causes of dysfunction for permanent pain relief. This process involves addressing your:

  • Breathing
  • Pelvic position
  • Movement quality

All of which is geared towards ensuring that we address the root causes of your dysfunction instead of applying a band-aid to temporarily relieve pain.

Each phase of training will have a different theme targeting various aspects of corrective exercise, fitness, and health. Each of the four phases outlined in my programming descriptions will last between 4-6 weeks, depending on each individual’s unique needs and aspirations.

We will be in constant communication to ensure you are getting the most possible enjoyment, satisfaction, and results from your program.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

It should be noted that the percentages of training time in the gym described below serve as a general reference for what to expect. Depending on your exercise goal, they may be subject to change.

  • In Phase 1, will seek to realign your body. With a focus on corrective exercises, you will see significant improvements in function, pain relief, and quality of life.
  • Despite a focus on restoration, I will still strive to help you increase your fitness. Aerobic conditioning and exercises focused on improving general fitness will serve to build a base for future gains.

  • Now, you have been aligned and have seen dramatic improvements in posture and pain levels. It’s time to get to work.
  • In Phase 2, we will emphasize quality movement and hypertrophy (muscle building) to build upon the base we built in the previous weeks.

  • You now move well, have built muscle, and trained your body to maintain proper function in and out of the gym.
  • In Phase 3, we will now focus on gaining strength through anaerobic (fast-twitch) muscular development while maintaining the aerobic adaptations we have already achieved.

  • At this point, you are a competent mover, a strong trainee, and completely out of pain. You have confidently progressed through the program to reach the final state in which we will take off all training wheels and maximize your fitness.
  • In Phase 4, the focus will revolve around your goals. Do you want to be stronger, faster, or more conditioned? At this point, the choice is yours.
